About the car:
- Year - 1996
- Make - Ford
- Model - E250
- Engine - 4.9 Liter 6 Cylinder
Initial Problem - Vehicle has an excessive oil leak. Customer is adding one quart a week at minimum.
Diagnosis & Recommendation - Upon inspection we found that the oil pan gasket was largest culprit of leaking oil. We did not see any oil coming down the engine block from the valve cover. We advised the customer to replace the oil pan gasket.
Outcome - After completing the service we verified that there were no longer any other oil leaks by driving the car locally and performing another inspection afterwards. The oil pan was clean after a 5 mile drive. We advised the customer to stop in one week later so we can confirm everything but we are confident this will resolve the issue.
